Every week, it's the same routine: Matthieu visits the market and hand-picks the finest ingredients. Today, the tomatoes are perfect. Tomorrow, it might be the courgettes. The produce decides, not the chef.

Matthieu hasn't always been a chef. But one thing has never changed: that fascination for the simple gestures that turn raw ingredients into a moment of sharing.

Today, at the helm of Roses & Mets, he cooks as he breathes: with authenticity. No unnecessary flourishes, no techniques to impress. Just respect for the produce, the right move at the right moment, and that obsession with putting a smile on people's faces around a table.

Whether it's for your wedding, your corporate seminar, or simply lunch at the restaurant, Matthieu pours the same care into every dish. Because deep down, every plate tells the same story: the pleasure of eating well, together.

The food lovers' hideaway

Place de la Vieille Boucherie, in the very heart of Grasse. That's where you'll find our restaurant. No fuss, no frills. Just good tables and a warm atmosphere where you can come for lunch with friends, family, or alone with a good book.

The menu changes with the seasons and the day's deliveries. Today, it might be a Provençal beef stew. Tomorrow, an asparagus risotto. We never really know in advance. And that's a good thing.
